| Born in Los Angeles, clothing
designer Rozae Nichols worked as a designer in Hong Kong, Paris,
and Los Angeles before launching her company (R’Novate) in 1993
which serves as the parent company to her two collections -
Rozae Nichols and RN Convertible.
Based in Los Angeles, Rozae imagines and produces
collectable, intelligent, and artfully unique clothing for an
international customer base. Attention to detail, from concept,
cut, construction, and production, is the key to the unique look
and integrity of each collection.
In her main collection, ROZAE NICHOLS, Rozae introduced
elements that have since become her signature; including
narrow-edged leathers, sheer silk pieces for layering and fused
rubber seaming and extensive hand finishing. Rozae Nichols has
developed a distinct visual language that has earned her a loyal
following worldwide. As designer of the garments and the
textiles from which they are made, Nichols favors hand finishing
and surface detailing fashioned into a harmonious, fresh, and
intriguing whole.
In the fall of 2006, the team behind the Rozae Nichols brand
launched an inspired second collection - RN Convertible. RN
Convertible is about casual luxury designed and draped for ease,
comfort, and versatility. These pieces layer into one another
and add more possibilities to the artisanal components of the
main line - ROZAE NICHOLS.
In March 2008, Per Inglander was named the new CEO. Mr.
Inglander comes with over ten years of experience in the fashion
industry holding previous positions as the VP Sales for Lacoste
and CEO of J Lindeberg USA. Mr. Inglander states, "Rozae Nichols
is an enormous talent and we
will focus on her design and technical strengths to build the
brand both internationally and domestically".
Today, the brand is sold in specialty stores like Ron Herman
in Los Angeles, Stanley Korshak in Dallas, Lane Crawford in Hong
Kong, and in national specialty stores like Barney’s and Neiman
Marcus.
At ROZAE NICHOLS, we pride ourselves on the fact that the
majority of the collection is manufactured in Los Angeles; in a
positive, sweatshop-free environment. In-house production and
manufacturing collaboration with like-minded local factories,
emphasize fair labor practices and is the cornerstone of our
consistent quality and the "warmth" of our product. Designing
soulfully inspirational clothing is the goal of every season.
Ethical business and labor practices are core values for the
company and inform the design and manufacturing process. For
this, we believe our customer will remain intrigued and
passionate about each future collection. |
